As a Halliburton Electrical/Electronics Technical Advisor, you are not only armed with authority - you are an authority. You are considered a subject matter expert in the application of standard electrical/electronic components. Share your expertise in analysis, modification and designs for multiple projects and/or projects of great complexity. This role calls for someone with the ability to trade off innumerable, complex, highly interdependent variables and who can make timely decisions. Provide leadership in technical solutions, new approaches to problems encountered. You may lead design teams, as well as give technical input into electrical and/or electronic hardware and/or firmware design, modification, testing and support of downhole tools and surface systems. A desire for variety in working conditions is essential, as this job occasionally involves physical exertion, outside work and may include routine travel.

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or similar discipline and a minimum of 10 years related experience are required for the position. A master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or similar discipline and license/charter as a Professional Engineer are preferred.
