Logging and Perforating involves the running of a perforating operation for completion, workover, or stimulation. Completes required reporting and documentation such as field ticketing, CPI, and LQA. Supervises the delivery of Logging products and services, and provides technical expertise to the external customer in a professional manner. This position functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies. Problems are characterized by their lack of scientific precedents and source material, or lack of success of prior research and analysis so that their solution would represent an advance of great importance. Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area. At this level, the individual generally will have contributed inventions, new designs, or techniques which are of material significance in the solution of important problems. Typical requirements include an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years experience, with average experience of 15+ years. Incumbents at this level will usually hold a certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer.
