Role & Responsibilities

  • Delivers, designs, and develops complex technical training and educational programs for the following: (1) multi-discipline technical training for external customer and internal employees, (2) complex technical course development, advanced technical on-the-job training for customers and employees, (3) direct product sales training requirements or Business Development curriculum. Training could be delivered at a Training Center or traveling to a particular location.
  • Assists with the coordination of activities of Human Resource Development Technical Instructors
  • Develops product simulations and other educational materials
  • Participates in the budgeting process for the Training Center
  • Confers with managers, instructors, or customer’s representative to determine training needs
  • Coordinates, develops and organizes training manuals, multimedia visual aids, product simulators and other educational materials
  • Evaluates training packages, including outline, text and handouts written by instructors
  • Performs assessment of course objectives vs. student performance, diagnosis of performance gaps and integration of the company competency system “competencies” into course curriculum
  • Ensures the correct/safe use and handling of department tools and equipment


Minimum Requirements

  • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering, education, or similar disciplines and 8-10 years of experience in Human Resource Development or Cementing Product Service Line operations including curriculum development or training experience. Subject matter expertise in Product Service Line technical knowledge, skills and experience necessary for this role. Travel is a requirement.
  • Must have experience operating & maintaining oil well cementing equipment
