Summary

As part of the Real Estate Services Design & Construction department, the Real Estate Planner will work within the Global Center of Excellence team developing solutions for a variety of facilities.  These include corporate accommodation, training facilities, technology centers and industrial facilities.  The Planner provides masterplans, conceptual designs and cost estimates for real estate projects to support facility design and development globally.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply Halliburton design standards at project proposal stage including design, construction, renovation and associated site infrastructure and facilities.
  • Supports other Design and Construction team members with drawings, design expertise, and best practices.
  • Managing third party design consultants, architects and cost consultants for specialist input when required;
  • Provides Global Technical support and applies/develops Halliburton standards and best practices for all Real Estate projects.
  • Job role contributes directly to value creation.

 

Further responsibilities include.

  • Responsible for Design and Construction to follow Halliburton’s processes and passing internal and external audits.
  • Works with subject matter experts to develop project related facility design and operations solutions.
  • Manages project compliance with applicable building and fire codes, other applicable laws and regulations, and company Health, Safety, and Environment policy at concept stage.
  • Advises consultant and sub-consultants of company safety policies and procedures.

     

Essential Experience

  • Fully versed in Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Excellent AutoCAD skills
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • 3D drawing production

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in Applied Science, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Science or similar discipline
  • 5 years of experience in oilfield services and/or design and construction industries, which includes experience in internal relations with Global Design & Construction level personnel.
