Halliburton Europe, with over fifty years of experience in the North and Southern North Sea, serves the European upstream oil and gas industry onshore and offshore. The technologies and skills acquired in Europe provide support for operations in North Africa, Middle East and Asia.

Future operations will focus on the development of technologies and services required for continued development of upstream oil and gas resources, maturing oilfields, including technical solutions to increase hydrocarbon recovery and decommission and abandonment of wells, pipeline systems, unconventional shale and coalbed methane plays.

Halliburton recruits on-campus and remotely at several Universities across Latin America. Check with your University to find out if Halliburton will be visiting your campus this semester. We also post events to our social media pages, Follow Us!

Internships

While this region includes multiple countries below is an overview of the internship offerings in the United Kingdom.

Halliburton student interns contribute to the overall success of the Company by bringing their motivation, fresh ideas and expertise to their respective roles. In turn, interns gain hands-on experience and develop skills in their chosen fields with a global company and industry leader. In the United Kingdom, approximately fifteen students from various universities are selected for internships in our Aberdeen facility. Each student is assigned a project to complete during his or her internship. At the end of the term, students present their work to supervisors and recruitment, and provide their insights about their experiences working at Halliburton

Eligibility: To be eligible for the internships, students must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom or European Union, typically with one or two years remaining in their university studies, and who have a clear sense of what they seek in their careers.

Qualifications: In the past, we have accepted students in the fields of engineering, geology, business, human resources, and law.

Compensation: Internship salaries depend upon educational background, the specific roles available and local polices.

How to apply: Students are encouraged to check their university’s careers websites where all available internships are advertised.
