Job Duties
Under general supervision, assists the Shop Supervisor and/or the Service Coordinator in the preparation and execution of specific jobs through the Halliburton Management System (HMS) process for the Wireline and Perforating Solutions (WPS) Product Service Line (PSL). Takes an active part in job planning to insure that all equipment is available and ready for the loading process. Verifies all paperwork is properly filled out prior to shipping to customer location and/or dock facility this includes but not limited to all internal forms, Department of Transportation (DOT) documents and any documents required from the customer. Assists the Shop Supervisor in assigning tasks for all gun bay personnel and champions safety. Assists the Shop Supervisor in training and mentoring lower level gun bay personnel. Promotes services excellence and customer satisfaction by providing leadership and mentoring. Skills typically acquired through High School diploma or equivalent education and a minimum of 3 year of experience in the Gun Shop which includes experience in previous job. Must meet minimum competency requirements for Loader-L&P, III. Must possess the hands on knowledge of all gun systems, firing systems and down-hole tools to insure the successful completion of jobs. Tubing Conveyed Perforating (TCP) I training required. May require obtaining Blaster license and CDL license. Must be able to learn SAP and Summit processes. Maintain Explosive/Radiation user training required. Must possess ability to prioritize tasks, mentor, and lead a team of gun bay loaders in meeting daily objectives. Champion safety. Knowledge and understanding of Job Service Order to successfully mobilize equipment upon call outs. Ability to accept calls for loading and unloading equipment and complete the appropriate Quality Control documentation including MT&aposs, Transporation paperwork, etc. Vast knowledge and understanding of HMS process, gun, firing system and tool manuals and Global/Local QA/QC process. Ability to locate, read and understand tool drawings from the PSL Operatons Manual. May require the ability and authority to accept and reject component parts based on the visual inspection and Local Build standard. May require the ability and authority to accept or reject tool function/pressure tests.
