About the Role

The Advisor I is a seasoned technical expert who operates with broad autonomy and serves as both a project leader and trusted consultant to clients. This role leads multidisciplinary consulting studies, mentors diverse technical teams, and drives high-impact deliverables across geomechanics, subsurface characterization, well design, and field development planning—or other relevant technical domains.


The Advisor I contributes directly to project execution, strategic planning, and business growth by engaging with customers, shaping technical solutions, and ensuring best-in-class consulting practices. This individual plays a key role in sustaining technical excellence and supporting the successful delivery of high-value, strategic projects.


Key Responsibilities
•    Lead complex consulting projects or supervise and mentor 5–10 technical professionals across varying levels of competence.
•    Apply deep technical expertise to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions for client challenges.
•    Ensure adherence to best practice work processes, quality standards, and project and commercial management principles.
•    Recognize, develop, and leverage team strengths; actively support competency development and career progression.
•    Engage regularly with customers, presenting insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance.
•    Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development, technical scope definition, and client engagement.
•    Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial control for assigned projects.
•    Support internal strategy development and the expansion of consulting service offerings.
•    Maintain and utilize a global network of technical and domain experts to enhance project outcomes.
•    Contribute simultaneously to 1–5 multidisciplinary consulting initiatives across the region.
•    Serve as a consulting role model in project leadership, client interaction, and business generation.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Geoscience, or related technical discipline.
•    Prior experience working with an E&P operator, major consultancy, or equivalent technical environment.
•    Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
•    Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present to senior client leadership.
•    Proven consulting acumen, project management capability, and customer engagement experience.

 

Preferred Experience
While not required, expertise in one or more of the following areas is highly valuable:•    Geomechanics
•    Subsurface modeling or characterization
•    Well construction engineering
•    CCUS / CO₂ storage studies
•    Field development planning
•    Reservoir and production optimization
