Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Subsea Service Leader to join our team in India. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the subsea industry and possess the technical expertise to drive success in this challenging environment.

 

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in subsea service operations, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
- Strong technical expertise in subsea equipment, systems, and associated technologies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

 

Job Role:

  • Under general supervision, coordinates and oversees Subsea Safety Systems (SSS) and a one other Testing and Subsea (TSS) product service line (PSL) work at the well site, providing excellent customer relations at the worksite during well testing or other type operations.
  • Plans and performs necessary string and space out calculations during job at the well site as needed.
  • Coordinates and directs the activities of service operators during the equipment rig up/down on a location and the preparation of equipment for performing a job.
  • Provides planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used, including dispute resolutions to approved levels.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with jobs performed.
  • Coordinates the clean-up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.
  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness.
  • Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, practices and guidelines.
  • Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
  • Has exceptional skills within the service line and general understanding of other service functions.
  • Demonstrates detailed understanding of down hole hydraulics, including basic job calculations, working knowledge of Blow Out Prevention (BOP) function and of basic reservoir–i.e., BHP, BHT, hydrocarbon characteristics.
  • Must have successfully passed company tests or met task guideline requirements.
  • Must meet the minimum competency requirements to execute Direct hydraulic and Electro hydraulic subsea safety system jobs.
  • Skilled at planning and organizing most jobs for two PSLs within the local area. Controls conflicts in positive and professional manner.
  • Builds teamwork and time management.
  • Ability to influence team and customer.
  • Good decision making skills under adverse conditions.
  • Ability to communicate with team and customer to affect knowledge transfer relate to job plans, calculations, well parameters, specific hazards, environmental issues, quality service, equipment, etc. related to the job.
  • Able to evaluate and communicate critical information on remote and/or offshore sites of more complex jobs.
  • In addition to responsibilities, systems knowledge, competence and skills sets acquired from lower level roles, this individual will be required to mentor and train lower level personnel in areas of expertise and will be required to become a dedicated Assessor for junior SSS personnel.
  • Provides input on individual performance levels of his/her subordinates providing on- the-job skills development to enhance job performance.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee subsea service operations, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the subsea service team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Ensures compliance for HMS and HSE standards, and guidelines for PSL personnel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and optimize subsea service delivery processes.
  • Interface directly with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain strong business relationships. Promotes excellent Customer relations at the worksite
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to drive innovation and maintain compliance.
  • Promotes improvements and best practices for the delivery of services for PSL including Country/NWA PII objectives.
  • Responsible for conducting well testing operations in accordance with well test program, safely and consistently per job and distributes the work information to all necessary personnel have the same information.
  • Manages Testing & Subsea resources in accordance with Customer's design, understands CPI process and document job results and customer satisfaction using CV Metrics/KPI process.
  • Holds Pre & Post Job safety meetings from time-to-time defining risks to personnel and the environment and communicates pre job and on the job to the customer.
  • Coordinates and directs the activities of service operators during rig up and rig down on location and the operation of Testing & Subsea equipment during a job.
  • Utilizes competency processes to enhance employee skills development and job performance in all aspects of the job.
  • Working with support functions ensures that a high level of equipment operating efficiency and readiness for the PSL is achieved. Utilizes real-time data under dynamic job conditions communicating results to appropriate personnel on location. Responsible for delivery of required equipment & materials inventory to wellsite. Demonstrates ability to manage and perform equipment testing and function checks. Capitalizes on sales opportunities and relays information to appropriate person for follow up. Negotiates effectively with customers concerning invoicing issues and service issues within approved limits. Possesses competent knowledge and ability to complete documents, reports and forms that affect financial results of the business unit. Manages costs in area of influence
