Job Duties:

  • Under broad direction, provides on-site supervision of the installation, operation, and retrieval of Multilateral Tools (MLT).
  • Leads these operations on critical jobs.
  • Leverages understanding of principles of Bottom Hole Assemblies (BHA) selection and aspects of MLT tool performance to ensure that BHA's are assembled as planned including correct make-up torque, doping and handling.
  • Maintains daily reports, End of Job Customer Survey (EJCS), service tickets, and all other relevant paperwork.
  • Maintains records of all MLT equipment at well site, and is laid out after use according to company procedures and manifested for backload at the end of the job. Responsible for company assets on location.
  • Assures that adequate supplies and equipment are present at well site at all times.
  • Facilitates communication between customer and the Solutions team and ensures required data are provided to customers.
  • Trains, coaches, and mentors more junior MLT personnel.
  • Assists in evaluation of individual performance levels of onsite MLT personnel.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathmatics) discipline preferred.  
  • Minimum of two years' experience, including one year as a Field Prof-MLT II.
  • Downhole tool experience in Completions, Drilling, and Fishing Operations are highly preferred. 
  • Current and valid drivers license is required and ability to provide a copy of drivers abstract.
