Job Title: Tech Prof-Software Develop, Sr

Responsibilities include: Develop and sustain current commercial software in operations. Collaborates closely with stakeholders to balance short-term project objectives with long-term strategic considerations, ensuring that software/hardware integration solutions not only address immediate requirements but also position software for sustained success in the dynamic landscape of engineering technology. Design of robust software architectures and improvement of existing software stacks. Improve and automate the entire software lifecycle with advanced agile methodology to ensure strict adherence to the Technical Software Development process across all development projects and refine and enhance development practices. R&D the uses of AI models such as LLM models into current software development process and applications. R&D on using Microsoft fabric for data storage & analytics to improve automation, operation and business analytics. Design and test server kits, images and processes used in edge computing operations. R&D on test automation in current software development and testing. 

Qualifications

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in job offered or in a software development-related occupation. 

 

Position requires experience in the following: 

 

1. Experience with Well Testing and Sub-Sea technologies for the purpose of understanding the needs of customers and employees to deliver digital solutions to the business. 

 

2. Experience with C#, Python (Pandas, NumPy, OpenCV), XML, and JSON technologies appropriate for large scale analysis of numerical and image data. 

 

3. Experience with Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) using WPF/XAML and MFC.

 

4. Experience converting code between different coding languages such as C++ to Java; C++ to .Net; C++ to Python; Javascript to Python, and vice versa. 

 

5. Experience with Machine Learning Algorithms, Techniques, and their applications (clustering, decision trees, Random Forest, Logistic & Linear regression, Gradient boosted trees, etc). 

 

6. Experience with Deep Learning for Computer vision applications such as Image classification, Object detection, Image segmentation, etc. 

 

7. Experience with Neural Networks, Convolutional Neural Networks, FasterRCNN, and deep neural networks algorithms. 

 

8. Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks/libraries such as Tensorflow, Keras, Scikit-learn and Pytorch. 

 

9. Experience with ADO, Azure Services, Mural and Figma for managing entire software lifecycle from backlog and repository management, software flow and mockup designs, test plans, architecture documentation, automated code scan, code review, build automation and deployment. 

 

10. Experience using LabVIEW, Python, and C# for development of simulators as servers per Open Platform Communication (OPC) protocol for PLC systems integration.
