Job Description

  • May assist with processing print requests and preparation of transmittals. May distribute engineering, supplier, and technical data as required.
  • May update and maintain engineering data base files with information contained in routine and less complex engineering job packets (i.e. bill of material, design specifications, etc.) according to established procedures.
  • May assist with image file creation using reproduction equipment and auto programs.
  • May assist in entering and maintaining project data files consisting of technical data, engineering and supplier drawings, purchase orders, technical specifications and other project required data.
  • Becomes familiar with existing user methods, processes, standards, lessons learned and best practices.
  • May assist with updating and maintenance of local workflow data bases and data control record keeping systems.
  • May assist with documentation of on-going processes and departmental projects.
  • May utilize limited project management skills in the organization and execution of project assignments.
  • May assist with general maintenance and operation of reproduction equipment.
  • Complies with corporate HSE initiatives.
  • Incorporates HES quality mission and vision in supporting delivery of products and services as well as their own work activities.


Education, Licensure, and Experience

  • 2 years related experience processing technical documentation associated with Manufacturing and/or Technology.
  • Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for a higher level role given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available including Associate Data Management Specialist, Data Management Specialist and Senior Data Management Specialist.


Role Specific Knowledge

Candidates should have basic knowledge in the following applications:

  • Excel
  • Word
  • Proficiency in computerized solutions typical of the Windows/Microsoft Office Environment
  • Effective teamwork, interpersonal skills, follow through, basic written communication skills
