Job Duties and Qualifications
- Under general supervision, provides first level user support for CAD (Computer Aided Design) and/or PDM (Product Data Management) related activities via telephone and computer (e-mail).
- Participates in troubleshooting system-level problems.
- Analyzes user-reported software problems.
- Prepares training materials to be used in classroom training events.
- Assists and mentors more junior members of the team.
- Analyzes users feedback/system data for possible improvements to methods, processes and standards.
Requirements:
- Requires completion of an Associates degree in Drafting and Design and at least three years of related Engineering experience.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available including Principal Support Specialist.
