Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Under direct supervision, applies basic drafting techniques to prepare simple engineering drawings or layouts when given full specifications, requirements, or instructions.
• Uses library parts to adhere to proper part modeling guidelines.
• Create simple product structures in PDM systems.
• Demonstrate awareness of TEG Auto Programs, design group standards, and CAPE drafting standards and procedures.
• Acquire basic knowledge of inspection techniques, machining, materials, components, and their application.
• Originates engineering change notices using instructions provided by Engineer. Incorporate reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process.
• Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact and errors are readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Skills typically acquired through vocational/technical training or 1-2 years of related experience.
