Compensation Information
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience:
- Service Operator I: Hourly rate of $14.42 with the eligibility to earn an Operating Day Rate of $9.93
- Service Operator II: Hourly rate of $14.99 with the eligibility to earn an Operating Day Rate of $11.90.
- Position is eligible for a $600/month stipend based out of Fort Lupton, CO
- $45/day Per Diem
- Hotel accommodations for 60 days for employees relocating to the Fort Lupton, CO area.
Job Duties and Qualifications
Job Duties:
- Under general supervision, assists the Service Specialist with pre-job service and SmartWell® completion equipment preparation, and with SmartWell® completion product installation at the well site.
- Assists with post-job demobilization including clean up, return of service/completion equipment and the maintenance and/or repair of service equipment.
- Assists with process documentation as prescribed by HMS.
- Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
- Consequences of error are normally detectable and are often recoverable.
- Given the nature of oilfield service work, all employees must be able to execute written and verbal instructions and effectively exchange information with peers and superiors that will increase the likelihood of job success.
- Every employee must be able to work as an effective team member.
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
- This is a development position with the expectation that all Service Operators will advance to the Service Specialist position.
- Develops and demonstrates general knowledge of SmartWell® technology included in the WellDynamics' product portfolio.
- Develops and demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the least complex SmartWell® completion deployed in his/her geographic area.
- Employee must develop and demonstrate a working knowledge of the process documentation required during prepare resources, mobilization, perform services and demobilization mainstay processes.
- Employee must also demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the dynamics of the reservoir, deployment software used for installation of SmartWell® Technology and display mechanical aptitude and preferably a practical understanding of mathematics, electronics and logistics.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Relevant six (6) months' work experience as an Operator Assistant
- Local area needs may require possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License.
- The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
- Basic reading, comprehension and writing skills are required.
- Basic computer skills are essential.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
