Job Duties

  • Cloud engineer with exposure to public cloud deployments with a strong emphasis on Azure. 
  • Will be responsible for deploying cloud infrastructure, container services, application services, and various PAAS services required by internal customers.
  • More specifically, the position will function as a build and escalation engineer, evaluating user requirements, translating them into approved designs, providing necessary support for successful deployments, and providing L2 and L3 support subsequently. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in cloud operational capacity, with hands-on experience in managing and deploying Azure and AWS workloads. Azure cloud experience is a must.
  • Implementation and maintenance of Azure, AWS, and OCI IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS cloud solutions.
  • Support of existing cloud solutions, including cost, performance, and reliability. Maintenance and documentation of backup and recovery systems within Azure, AWS, and OCI.
  • Supports DevOps practices for infrastructure and security management. Supports application and security architecture and design across multi- and hybrid cloud platforms.
  • Support cloud networking functions in collaboration with the global networking team.
  • Support cloud implementation policies and security guardrails.
  • Able to communicate effectively with various teams, including vendors, to solve cloud-related problems. Ability to analyze complex requirements and apply analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in one or more infrastructure technologies and scripting languages (e.g., Azure CLI, Terraform, Bicep, etc.), utilizing them to automate workflows
  • Provide advanced administration and Level 2 support for global Windows and Linux environments; manage hypervisors, including VMware and Hyper-V.
