Electrical Technician (Sr - Principal) Sperry Drilling

Job Duties and Qualifications

Responsibilities:   
•    Under general direction, exercises judgment in the assembly of prototype electrical and/or electronic components or systems.  
•    Conducts functional and environmental testing of existing and new circuits according to established standards and procedures.  
•    May be responsible for prototype PC board assembly and have good electrical and/ or electronic testing and troubleshooting skills. Debugs, tests and documents the test results for electrical and/or electronics equipment. 
•    Complies with reliability and safety practices. Comply with Halliburton HSE and Service Quality requirements. 
•    Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.  
•    Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.  

Requirements: 
•    Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an associate’s degree in a related field of science and 3 years’ experience working in a technician role or through 5 years of experience working in a related technician, manufacturing, and/or field operations capacity.
