The Landmark Global Marketing Manager (Chief Marketing Officer for Halliburton Landmark)  is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for compelling customer experience and customer journeys. The Marketing Manager is for the CX and brand of the business line - build brand awareness, attract potential customers, and retain existing ones.

Global Marketing Manager Roles & Responsibilities

  • Be the Evangelist for Digital innovation in the energy industry
  • Understand customer needs and strategies to align Landmark customer experience to those needs
  • Be a vocal champion of the Business line
  • Commercialization and promotion of products and/or services
  • Ensure the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones
  • Represent the marketing team and be a champion of the customer experience to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, engineering, customer support, and Operations
  • Update senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns
  • Plan and manage Halliburton’s largest customer event, industry conferences, LIFE
  • Advise product management on how to implement AARRR (Pirate framework) framework from a marketing and CX perspective
  • Collaborate with Global Accounts team to identify Account based marketing activities
  • Work with regional marketing teams to execute field level initiatives


 

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Meet with customers and partners to ensure ideal CX
  • Establish CX metrics in the business line
  • Create an industry leading and agile marketing organization
  • Help create and update messaging and product position – validate messaging and its impact
  • Manage and coordinate marketing and creative staff
  • Collaborate with partners including advertising agencies and technology partners to bolster go to market
  • Brainstorm strategies and ideas for new campaigns to reach intended audience
  • Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to produce effective strategies
  • Monitor current campaigns, ensuring their staff meets deadlines and complete necessary tasks
  • Analyze data to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure
  • Under broad direction, responsible for the cross company management of partnerships and alliances marketing for the Landmark and GeoGraphix brands as well as the Consulting and Services offer.
  • Work with our strategic partners to develop marketing programs leveraging the resources, talents and brands of both Landmark, GeoGraphix and the partner companies.
  • Work with the technology business line marketing managers to create marketing programs fitting the product offer with the strategic partners offer.
  • Ensure consistency of process and procedures for partnership and alliance marketing.
  • Work with the Sr. Manager of Product Marketing as well as the director of partnerships and alliances and will collaborate on the go to market strategy.
  • Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center’s viability or its quality of service via personal contributions.
  • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business and 10 years of experience in product marketing which includes experience in product marketing gained within the IT industry and management experience.
  • Completion of a graduate degree in Business MBA preferred.
