Job Duties and Qualifications

Responsibilities: 

  • Implements quality management programs on a global basis.
  • Provides general support of continuous improvement and quality management techniques and facilitates business unit applications of those techniques.
  • Collects, reviews, selects and introduces to the organization new tools and quality management methods which enhance performance.
  • Recommends training, tools, methods, for specific region, PSL and other business unit quality management applications.
  • Provides input to special projects/teams to assure the quality viewpoint is consistently applied.
  • Interfaces with customers, standardization bodies and industry associations on quality matters.
  • Develops, implements and monitors quality initiatives.
  • Provides quality management input for special bids/tenders.
  • Aligns the quality management function with the performance needs of the business units.
  • Leads/facilitates teams relative to the design of structure and process.
  • Provides guidance on system design, measurement, monitoring and improvement.
  • Establishes training materials and schedules for management development.
