Job Duties
- Under broad direction, responsible for working with the Product Development & Commercialization process for new technologies to be implemented globally within a PSL or multiple PSL's.
- Coordinates the cross-functional resources required to realize the full value of a new product introduction.
- Conducts internal training on a new product and develops training plan and documentation.
- Establishes communication and support networks and develops and implements external communication plans.
- Develop commercialization plans, target customers, and EVC and case histories.
- Provide operational and sales needs and input to focused product development (FPD) on global deployment and marketing plans.
- Coordinates FPD, manufacturing, and deployment actions, implements performance measures system, and creates enthusiasm for new product.
- Develop innovative, industry leading techniques, theories, precepts and engineering practices to solve unprecedented engineering problems during the development and application of new and improved products and processes.
- May develop unprecedented reservoir engineering techniques in areas of production decline analysis, well test analysis, fluid flow in porous media, and production simulation.
- May perform numerical modeling, data analysis, correlation and model development on complex multi- discipline projects utilizing existing commercial software and may develop state of the art modeling software.
- May develop industry leading chemical products and processes by providing chemical and engineering analysis applicable to need.
- Recognized as an industry subject matter expert in one or more technical fields.
- Considered an SME within the industry.
- Job role contributes directly to value creation.
Qualifications
- Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree or equivalent field experience and detailed technical knowledge and application of products/technologies, and company-required training with a minimum of 15 years experience.
