  • Under broad direction, this role is responsible for supplier contracting activities
  • Analyzes data and works with internal stakeholders to identify and execute contracts for suppliers utilizing the Halliburton Contract Management system (SAP Ariba)
  • Establishes and manages supplier contract priorities based on stakeholder feedback and business needs
  • Ensures adherence to Halliburton supplier contracting policies and work methods
  • Acts as liaison between stakeholders, internal departments, and suppliers
  • Defines appropriate commercial terms based on stakeholder input and drafts commercial language that mitigates risk in supplier relationships through effective contracts
  • Provides updates and reports out contract status to stakeholders and management on a regular basis
  • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or similar discipline and a minimum of 3 years of procurement related experience with 1 year of experience with contracting processes, methods, and policies.
  • Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles give (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available from the Supply Chain Analyst up to the Senior Supply Chain Analyst
