Duties:                                                             

Responsibilities Include: Working with the Product Development & Commercialization process of assigned mechanical engineering projects. Coordinates the cross-functional resources required to realize the full value of a new product introduction and commercialization targets. Conducts internal training on a new product and develops training plan and documentation. Establishes communication and support networks and develops and implements external communication plans. Works closely with marketing department to develop commercialization plans, target customers, and EVC and case histories. Provides operational and sales needs and input to focused product development (FPD) on FBM deployment and marketing plans. Coordinates FPD, manufacturing, and deployment actions, implements performance measures system, and creates enthusiasm for new product. Manages field trial development plans and measures product performance against KPIs. Aids and assists in investigations within responsible product families. 

                                                                 

Requirements:                                  Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Product Development related occupation.

 

Position also requires experience in the following:  

 

  1. Experience conducting torque and drag modeling for casing equipment jobs (up to 15,000ft) in high temperature and high angled wells.

  2. Experience providing technical assessment and recommendations for casing equipment based on project scope and well conditions.

  3. Experience planning and targeting casing equipment technology projects in offshore and land well operations.

  4. Practical experience in designing, operating, and commercializing sub-surface release plug sets.

  5. Experience leading a technical team with incident investigations and event postmortems for casing equipment related irregular jobs.

  6. Experience building and maintaining customer relationships with small and large IOC customers as well as NOCs.

  7. Extensive knowledge and practical experience in designing, operating, and commercializing inflatable and compression set annular packer systems with integral stage cementing.
