Job Overview

Landmark Software and Services (LSS), a Halliburton business line, is seeking a Regional General Manager to lead growth initiatives across North America. Under broad direction, this role requires a hunter leadership style, creating and executing strategies that relentlessly pursue new opportunities to drive measurable growth, operational excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The Regional General Manager will provide strategic leadership to position LSS as the premier provider of technology solutions throughout the region, with proven experience leading sales teams in innovative science and engineering software markets.​ ​

The Regional General Manager will champion aggressive business development initiatives, securing multimillion-dollar contracts with upstream oil operators. They will develop annual business plans and forecasts that consistently achieve or exceed performance targets, while building and leading a hunter-oriented sales organization that delivers sustained increases in new customer acquisition. This leader will drive double-digit annual revenue growth through market share expansion, establish and uphold standards of excellence that position LSS as the leading science and engineering technology solutions provider in the region, and collaborate closely with Halliburton’s regional and corporate management teams to accelerate growth and align strategies. The role also includes directing workforce planning across multiple countries and driving sales efforts in science and engineering software markets, resulting in widespread adoption by targeted accounts.​ ​

Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree, with an advanced degree preferred, and possess unrestricted ability to travel up to 30 percent across North America and internationally. A minimum of 20 years of sales and industry experience within North America is required, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams using a hunter-style leadership approach. Seven years of P&L and operational management experience is essential, with demonstrated success in delivering sustained profitability and efficiency improvements. The successful candidate will have established Vice President–level relationships with oil operators throughout the North American upstream market, including Conventional Land, Unconventional, and Gulf of Mexico. Strong skills in strategic planning, operational management, and competitive market development are required, along with international experience and the ability to collaborate across global teams and markets. Above all, the Regional General Manager must inspire teams, foster collaboration, and deliver quantifiable results in dynamic, high-growth environments.​

  • Championed aggressive business development initiatives, securing multimillion‑dollar contracts with upstream oil operators.​ 
  • Developed annual business plans and forecasts that consistently achieved or exceeded performance targets.​
  • Built and lead hunter‑oriented sales organization, achieving a 20% increase in new customer acquisition year‑over‑year.​
  • Delivered double‑digit annual revenue growth through market share expansion across North America.​
  • Established and upheld standards of excellence that position LSS as the leading science and engineering technology solutions provider in the region.​
  • Collaborated with Halliburton’s regional and corporate management teams to accelerate growth and align strategies.​

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred.​
  • Unrestricted ability to travel up to 30% across North America and internationally as required.​
  • Minimum of 20 years of sales and industry experience within North America, with a proven track record of building and managing high‑performing sales teams using a hunter‑style leadership.​
