About the Role
Under broad direction, the Regional Technical Sales Manager serves as the primary technical authority and customer‑facing leader for Testing & Subsea solutions within the assigned region. This role drives technical delivery excellence, customer engagement, and alignment across Business Development, Operations, and Product Lines. The position plays a critical role in positioning Halliburton’s Testing & Subsea portfolio—particularly Optime subsea technologies—by translating customer challenges into differentiated solutions and strengthening the PSL’s technical brand.
This is an onsite role with regular travel, including support for customer engagement and technical sales activities in LATAM.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the regional lead for all customer technical matters related to Testing & Subsea solutions.
- Develop and apply deep technical expertise to educate customers, operations teams, and BD on solution capabilities and value.
- Support delivery execution by identifying customer technical requirements and assisting with issue resolution.
- Partner with Business Development to pursue new opportunities through customer interactions and technical workshops.
- Provide technical recommendations for proposals, including solution configuration and upsell opportunities (POP plans).
- Shape regional technical strategy based on customer drivers, operational needs, and technology gaps.
- Drive technology adoption and upsell strategies across the region.
- Represent the PSL in technical forums, customer presentations, and relevant industry events.
- Serve as the regional focal point for technical sales and marketing communication.
- Build and maintain a regional network of subject matter experts.
- Use project management tools to track technical initiatives and action plans.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for Technical Advisors within the matrix organization.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience within well testing, subsea, completions, or related offshore technologies.
- Strong technical understanding of subsea systems, well testing, and integrated service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in technical sales, solution positioning, and customer‑facing engagements.
- Proven ability to influence across matrix organizations and lead geographically distributed teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to travel regularly, including to LATAM, to support regional technical sales activities.
Preferred
- Experience supporting Optime or comparable subsea production/testing technologies.
