We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Power BI and a strong background in the energy and/or software industry. This role will drive strategic insights and operational excellence by transforming complex data into clear, actionable intelligence. The ideal candidate will partner with product, operations, and commercial teams to deliver high-impact analytics and support data-driven decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of Power BI dashboards to monitor product performance, customer usage, operational efficiency, market trends and track business performance.
- Analyze data from multiple sources such as ERP( ECC, S/4 HANA), Salesforce(CRM, CRQ, etc.) and financial systems to support strategic planning, customer success, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Translate business needs into clear data requirements and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment of analytics deliverables with business goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on trend analysis, predictive insights, and performance tracking.
- Develop and maintain documentation and governance for Power BI datasets, models, and reports.
- Support leadership teams with ad hoc data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation materials.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven experience in the energy and/or software sector, with a strong understanding of industry metrics, regulatory dynamics, and customer workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience integrating data from APIs, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership.
