Job Duties and Qualifications

  • Under general supervision, coordinates and oversees Testing & Subsea Safety Systems work at the well site, providing excellent customer relations
  • Plans and performs necessary calculations and data collection/distribution for the total job at the well site as needed
  • Coordinates / directs activities of others during rig up/rig down on location and clean up, repair, and preparation of equipment for next job
  • Recognizes possible sales opportunities for other products and service and communicates that to  appropriate Company staff
  • Provides coaching / input on individual performance levels of subordinates providing skills development to enhance job performance
  • Leads by example & pursues self development
  • Must be capable of navigating/utilizing and ensuring compliance with HSE, HMS and Competency standards and guidelines
  • Will be required to become a dedicated Assessor for junior personnel; Coaching them for better performance
  • Promotes HES Process Improvement Initiatives (PII)
  • Demonstrates understanding of downhole hydraulics, including basic job calculations, working knowledge of wireline BOP function and of basic reservoir–ie, BHP, BHT, hydrocarbon characteristics
  • Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability of operations

Requirements:

 

  • Skills are typically acquired through a high school diploma or similar education and
  • 1 year of experience as Service Specialist I or 5 years of SSS experience including a role as a supervisor Fully knowledgeable in most aspects of SSS service line in the local area
  • Successfully completing company tests / met task guideline and Competency requirements
  • Ability to communicate with team and customer to affect knowledge transfer relate to job plans, calculations, well parameters, specific hazards, environmental issues, quality service, equipment, HMS policies, etc related to the job
  • Math and computer skills required
  • Must be able to use Correction, Prevention and Improvement System to document problems encountered or ideas for improvement
