Responsibilities include:

Supervise engineers and/or other technical staff members. Provide technical guidance to the group. Conduct goal setting and performance appraisals of personnel. Lead a cross functional, cross department or cross Center team in executing various corporate projects and/or initiatives (e.g., standards, best practices, lessons learned), or a standing sub-PSL design team. Utilize project management skills and tracking tools in the organization and execution of project assignments. Execute tactical action plans as set by department goals and objectives. Manage the development team to ensure delivery. Possess thorough understanding of the supported PSL's technology and broad understanding of the associated development tools. Responsible for identifying and filling technological and functional requirements. Manage outside consultants in developing solutions and coordinate project design and milestone reviews. Incorporate reliability analysis and promote optimum use of development tools and standards during the design process. Understand and promote HES's quality directives. Perform development tasks maintaining development expertise.

                                                                        

Requirements:                 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years of work experience in job offered or 5 years of related experience in an Electrical Engineering role.

 

Position also requires:

1.           Experience with C#, ASP.Net and Message Queuing

2.           Experience with Asynchronous programming and event driven techniques using .Net framework

3.           Experience with software development in object-oriented design and traditional design patterns usage in mid-to-large size applications

4.           Experience with Domain Driven Design in development

5.           Experience with unit testing in application development

6.           Experience in oilfield technologies, specific domain knowledge in Logging While Drilling workflows and operations requirements

7.           Experience in algorithm development, specific domain knowledge in post processing of sensor data (porosity, density, gamma ray, seismic) for the purpose of producing customer logs.
