US Houston: Digital Procurement Systems Lead

Summary

Under broad direction, identifies user requirements and assists with the design, development and documentation of supply chain systems. Support user acceptance testing, data cleansing/conversion efforts, internal audits related to the systems/processes, and will support the master data within the systems. Assists in the development of user training and works with users to ensure that processes are correctly followed. Communicates with supply chain business units to ensure business needs are met. Is an advocate to the business unit and user community. Coordinates and conducts user training. Assists in supervising others. Provides basic job training and guidance on a regular basis; performs work of same or closely allied nature. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in a Technical, Supply Chain, or Business related field and 4-10 years of experience in a supply chain related field. Should have direct experience in and extensive knowledge of supply chain systems, business processes and process management techniques.

  • Generation of metrics to determine if systems and technology are utilized and desired results are being met

  • Application of process and system knowledge to problem resolution

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4 – 10 years of experience in supply chain, field operations and/or project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP implementation projects, Digital Procurement (Source-to-Contract; Source-to-Pay; Procure-to-Pay).
  • Strong communication skills with experience interfacing with various internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes.
