Under broad direction from Operation leadership, the HSE Professional is responsible for assisting with the creation and implementation of global PSL/Region/Support Function HSE strategies, policies, procedures and processes. The position will function as  PSL support to Halliburton Multi-Chem with an operational focus on downstream chemicals.



  • Assists with the implementation and oversight of integrated management systems that at a minimum meet the needs of the company and the requirements of industry standards (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001).
  • Serves as the technical and procedural subject matter expert advisor to other functional and operational counterparts.
  • Interfaces with functional leadership at all organizational levels, customers, standardization bodies and industry associations on HSE matters
  • Leads the implementation of processes which have been established to ensure compliance with applicable standards, requirements and identified best practices.
  • Leads and participates in diverse activities such as permit applications, hazard identification and risk management, plan development and implementation, proposal review, expert in incident investigation/causal analysis and corrective actions, report review, and performance assessments.
  • Interfaces with business development, operations personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, researching and interpreting standards, codes and regulations and providing reports as required.
  • Provides leadership, supervision, coaching, data interpretation, plan development and technical advice to facilitate continuous HSE performance improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with regulatory authorities.
  • Evaluates data from audits and investigations and can explain trends including developing and presenting plans to improve performance.
  • Primary focal point for ISnetworld, Avetta, PEC, Browz, etc.. for the downstream chemicals business



  • Professional working knowledge of the health, safety, and environmental processes and standards within the company, and of HSE regulatory requirements within the geographical area of responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of HSE management systems and regulatory requirements relating downstream chemicals manufacturing, distribution and use.
  • Experience in facilitating  and leading root cause analysis
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to problem solve
  • Requires an undergraduate study in HSE related field, Science, or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • The position will span a large geographic area with 25-50% travel.
