Job Overview:

Under broad direction, this role is responsible for design, execution and implementation of CI projects related to International Logistics movements as well as to identify competency gaps within Logistics personnel cross all international regions, design, and implement a development program to address these competency gaps. The role will lead cross functions teams and work with all international regions on identifying Logistics CI needs and competency development opportunities.


Job Duties:

  • Lead CI projects related to International Logistics movements.
  • Understanding of the overall PM&L strategy. Develops and implements logistics strategies in line with area and region initiatives.
  • Review processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Responsible for the design and implementation of an International logistics development program cross all region.
  • Manage logistics competencies, Lead competency assessments and Identify competency gaps within the logistics function for all international regions. 
  • Lead and organize Logistics training classes at global and regional locations. 


Job Qualifications:

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems or Engineering required.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in related field of logistics with all transport modes (Ocean, Air and Land) to include hazardous cargo movements.


Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Project management and continuous improvement experience.
  • International Logistics Supply Chain experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
