UX Interaction Designer Scrum Master (Principal - Senior Advisor)

Job Duties and Qualifications

  • Collaborate with Halliburton business and development team members to design user experiences for a variety of digital experiences and applications: Desktop web, native mobile, and digital products of all kinds—addressing things like workflows, interactions, information architecture and visual design
  • Direct the efforts on all aspects of the User designs with heavy hands-on creating user workflows, user interactions or interaction designs, wireframes and visual designs
  • Create plan, conduct, and direct business users’ ideation sessions, design workshops, and even design sprints
  • Create prototype solutions (ranging from low- to high-fidelity) and iterate on them based on user insight and client feedback (We work only in Figma!)
  • Help business stakeholders better understand their users – through structuring and conducting user research and evaluating usability of finished designs
  • Guide clients through UX methodologies or best practices, while maintaining flexibility and adapting to their methods using strong communication, personal management, presentation and storytelling skills
  • Work with development teams to refine scope and ensure proper implementation
  • Collaborate and lead design teammates on pitches for new client work
  • Bring your own unique perspective to solving difficult problems

 

Experience Requirements

  • 7+ years of User experience – taking ownership, driving understanding, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations
  • Experience working in Oil & Gas Industry
  • Proficiency with UX design-design tool Figma as well as communication and collaboration tools like Microsoft Office, Teams and Azure Devops
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum for User Experience teams
  • Managing expectations and timelines for deliveries
  • Breadth of experience along the spectrum of UX design, and ability to wear multiple hats:
  • Conduct light research or user testing, create personas, journey maps or blueprints, and other research deliverables
  • Develop, produce, and iterate wireframes, information architecture diagrams, clickable design prototypes, and basic design systems
  • Strong interest in designing for emerging technologies, mobile UX, and an aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Passion for learning and drive to grow!

Education Requirements

  • Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, and 7 years of related experience or through 11 years of software development experience. 
  • Completion of a master's in computer science or similar discipline is preferred
  • Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirement will receive consideration for higher-level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
