US Houston: Business Process Specialist

Job Overview:

Under general supervision, assists with the development and understanding of best practice, end to end processes for the Global Supply Chain function. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

 

Job Duties:

  • Continually reviews and improves processes as well as develops metrics to track adherence and business performance in regions.
  • Compiles, analyzes and reports key metrics to leadership.
  • Identifies and facilitates continuous improvement in Supply Chain.
  • Serves as an advisor on questions of Policy, Procedure, and Guideline interpretation and application.
  • Develops and authors reports to monitor PM&L compliance.
  • Communicates with supply chain stakeholders on potential business risks, and ongoing issues for country scorecard analysis and performance monitoring.
  • Identifies PM&L compliance trends.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline required.
  • 2-3 years of related experience required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Products.
  • Supply chain and industry knowledge.
  • SAP experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills as demonstrated through management of small projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in auditing and/or governance, compliance, or control systems.
  • Experience authoring reports for distribution.
  • Familiar with vendor reporting systems including SAP Business Warehouse, Catana, and Qlikview.
