Overview: 

Candidates will be responsible for developing and securing our cloud infrastructure and applications by implementing secure policies and capabilities across our application stack.
Candidates should be very well versed in AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure and application security.  They should be capable of navigating complex security issues, working closely with security operations and security engineering, and making applications secure and robust against cybersecurity risks.  Candidates will be part of a product engineering team working at the intersection of building next-generation algorithms and micro services, cloud computing, and security.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Candidates will be expected to perform the following activities, including but not limited to:
• Design, develop and implement application security improvements across the infrastructure and application stack for modern cloud-based applications in a micro services based architecture.
• Ability to develop and implement data security, encryption, threat defense using secure designs.
• Implement architectural designs that comply with security standards and frameworks, for Enterprise software applications.
• Configure and manage cloud access control mechanisms, including identity and access management (IAM), authentication.
• Develop and implement encryption for data at rest, data in motion across public and private cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct threat modeling exercises.
• Perform SAST and DAST scans and generate/evaluate RAF documentation.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot 3rd party software.  
 
Required Skills:
 
• Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent with 6+ years of experience
• Cloud: AWS, Azure
• Identity: Okta, Active Directory
• CI/CD: Gitlab Runner
• Security: Gitlab SAST/DAST tooling, Penetration testing, Wireshark
• Containerization: Docker/Kubernetes 
• OS: Windows 10/11, RedHat Linux 8/9
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Total Years of Experience: 6+ years 

Location:   Bangalore, Karnataka, India. 

Education and Experience:

6+ years of experience in IT and public cloud infrastructure development or customer-oriented environments 
BE/ BTech/ ME/ MTech/ BS/ MS in computer science or related STEM field
