Job Duties and Qualifications

Brief job description:
Prepare/review direct and indirect tax compliances for both Malaysia and Philippines covering income tax, tax estimate, transfer pricing, withholding tax, SST/VAT, & etc.
Prepare/review periodical tax return and coordinate with tax agents, advise on amendments and ensure the tax returns are in order and deadline for filing is met.
Prepare/review internal monthly corporate income tax provisions, quarterly cash tax forecasts, effective rate forecasts and SOX testing.
Support company tax audit and timely resolution of other tax controversy matters.
Advise and attend to queries from stakeholders/business partners where required.
To communicate and liaise with tax authorities on all tax matters for the Group and ensure that all matters are resolved on a timely manner.
Keep abreast of latest tax developments/updates and analyze the implication to the business
Other ad-hoc assignment /duties as and when required.

Requirements:
- Good understanding of Malaysia tax rules, regulations and practices.
- Analytical mindset with attention to details.
- Knowledge in Philippines taxation is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
- Good in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel
