HPM Proj Svcs & Materials Coor

Job Duties

1. Objective

Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant completion operations aligned with Sonangol expectations, Halliburton standards, and Angolan regulations.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Design & Engineering

• Develop upper/lower completion designs with potential for injector conversion.
• Specify and verify equipment orders; ensure timely inspection and delivery.
• Conduct flow assurance, sand control, hydraulic simulations, and materials selection.
• Select completion tools (e.g., packers, screens, SSDs, swellables).
• Define and source completion fluids and cleanout tools.
• Prepare detailed Completion Program and schematics for client approval.

B. Planning & Integration

• Collaborate cross-functionally (drilling, reservoir, production).
• Ensure compliance with HAL SOPs, Sonangol/ANPG regulations.
• Define IWCC sequencing and completion fluids/logistics plan.
• Recruit and prepare 2 offshore Completion Supervisors.
• Lead Completion Readiness Review.

C. Execution Support

• Ensure equipment is QC’d and delivered to rig on time.
• Oversee instructions for offshore crews; verify tallies and fluid volumes.
• Support real-time operations remotely or offshore.
• Capture and validate post-job data; lead lessons learned.

D. QA/QC & Compliance

• Review documentation, test results, and SIT/FAT.
• Ensure inventory and equipment run tracking.
• Support end-of-well reporting.

E. Interfaces & Communication

• Liaise with PSLs (Cementing, CT, PE, etc.).
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and technical dossiers.
• Present during DWOP/CWOP.

3. Deliverables

• Completion BoD, Program, Design Report
• Equipment lists/specs and fluid compatibility reports
• Risk Register, Job Procedures, Real-time logs
• Post-job summary and lessons learned

Qualifications

• 10+ years as Completion Engineer with Operator experience
• Deepwater/HPHT offshore experience
• Expertise in sand control, wellbore cleanout, and inflow performance
• Knowledge of Halliburton tools, WellCat, Prosper, etc.
• Familiarity with Angolan regulations is a plus
