This is an entry level position for mechanical maintenance in the Equipment Maintenance department for personnel desiring a career path as a Mechanic Technician. Under direct supervision, performs routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a variety of Halliburton equipment. Assists Mechanic Technicians in performing more complex repairs. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of errors are easily measured and can be confined. Minimum skills may be acquired through a qualified technical school certificate or equivalent related experience. Basic set of hand tools is required
