Job Duties

Under broad direction, ensures Procurement, Materials, and Logistics activities within a manufacturing center, country, or chosen location are managed to meet business and customer needs. Establishes supply base and manages procurement, materials and logistics process for optimal business results. Implements Strategic Sourcing in conjunction with Category Management group to support country needs, manufacturing production schedules, and customer deliveries. Ensures compliance with the local laws and Internal Control requirements. Manages employee and supplier performance. Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center's viability or its quality of service via personal contributions. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or similar discipline and a minimum of five years of related experience. Completion of a graduate degree and possession of APICS, CPM, or CPIS certification are preferred.

 

About the Role

 

We are looking for a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, materials management, and logistics operations across India. This strategic role ensures operational excellence, cost optimization, and timely delivery to meet business and customer needs. You will manage supplier performance, drive strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensure compliance with local regulations and internal controls—all while making a direct impact on revenue and profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Procurement & Sourcing: Establish and maintain a strong supply base; execute strategic sourcing in collaboration with Category Management.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Oversee inventory planning, warehousing, and transportation (import/export and local).
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to local laws, company policies, and internal control standards.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of ~21 professionals across procurement, inventory planning, logistics, and warehouse operations.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage annual spend of $70M–$100M, inventory of $20M–$25M, and a budget of $1M–$1.5M.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in supply chain management with proven leadership experience, preferred in Oil and Gas industry.
  • Certifications: APICS, CPM, or CPIS preferred.
  • Skills: Strong Communication, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
