Job Duties

• Under direct supervision, assists in providing technical assistance to internal customers.
• Assists in performing successful implementation of RTO service delivery across the Product Service Lines. Assists in preparing technical documentation of tests and technical solutions as required.
• Reviews HalWorld documents for utilization. Incorporates Reliability, HSE and Quality standards into job activities.
• Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
• Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering Technology or similar discipline. This is an entry level job.

Role Overview

Under direct supervision, functions as the designated Real Time Operations (RTO) technical liaison interacting with Sales, Operations, and RTO support personnel. Assist in performing successful implementation of RTO service delivery across the Product Service Lines. Assists in preparing technical documentation of tests and technical solutions as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs all conventional aspects of Real Time Operations (RTO), including IT design, monitoring and/or troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain fleet of virtual machines needed for global real time services and virtual remote operation resources.
  • Manage all cloud-hosted infrastructure for real time and remote operations.
  • Tend to IT related functions for Real Time infrastructure (server updates, VM resource management, etc.).
• Interface with regional personnel to procure job-specific information and data deliverables.
• Ensures proper system configuration, updates sources of data and record critical information.
• Data ingestion into real time system platforms.
• Build and configure transmission channels to facilitate data delivery for real-time services and applications.
• Interfaces in a professional manner with customers, users, and operation crews regarding services, as required.
• Report, submit, prioritize, and escalate incidents through ticketing system, as dictated by incident management protocols.
• Perform incident investigation and communicate incident updates to customers and users.
• Responsible for production upgrade deployments for real time system components.
• Manage remote network access workflows.
• Global support for file storage/transfer application.
• Perform real-time adjustments or modifications to the operation as required to optimize results for meeting customer expectations.
• Collaborate with the team leaders to optimize staffing and scheduling.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Preferred Expertise

• Understanding basic IT networking and VPN.
• Experience with cloud-hosted infrastructure tenants, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of and/or experience with WITSML/ETP data transfer standards.
• Experience with web-based collaborative platform and documentation management system (DMS), particularly Microsoft SharePoint.
• Experience with remote desktop software.
• Basic understanding of and/or experience with oil and gas operations.
• Experience with internal Halliburton operations software systems and platforms.
• Experience with ticketing system platforms, particularly ServiceNow.
• Experience in real time analyst or similar role.

Qualifications

Location: Pune, India (Rotational Work Pattern)

Experience: 2-4 years

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

Shift Timings, Working days (12h/d): 2 weeks on, 1 week off rotation
