Log Data Technician - Sperry Drilling Services

Job Duties:

• Processes well log data for delivery to clients and assists Log Analysts in preparing and processing data for advanced computation.
• Produces basic and advanced interpretation products and data services for delivery to clients.
• Utilizes basic knowledge of computing systems, software, and hardware and monitors and processes incoming/outgoing data transmissions.

Qualifications:

• Requires a high school degree with college level courses in math, science, computers, and/or engineering preferred, and knowledge of log data processing typically acquired through 1 year of experience.
• Must be able to pay close attention to detail while staying focused on tasks. 
• Must be able to work with a variety of internal and external customers.
• Must be able to identify and prioritize own tasks to that of internal and external customers. 
• Experience in Log, Measure While Drilling, GeoSteering, and Wireline is beneficial to this role.
