Your mission
To own and lead Optime’s QHSE governance model during a period of significant growth. This is a senior leadership role with influence across the entire company. You will shape, maintain, and continuously improve a scalable, integrated, and risk-based QHSE system that supports Optime’s vision to simplify subsea.
Your mission is to build and protect a QHSE framework that is:
- business-aligned
- culturally anchored
- scalable across functions
- and strong enough to support rapid expansion and corporate integration
You will ensure that ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 requirements are applied in a way that enables, not restricts, innovation. You will define cross-functional QHSE architecture, guide risk acceptance, support commercial decisions, and lead system-level alignment during Halliburton integration.
Your Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of senior QHSE leadership experience preferably in oil & gas, energy, or complex engineering environments
- Proven success in building or scaling QHSE governance systems during rapid company growth
- Strong competence in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, including interpretation and system design
- Experience leading cross-functional change and implementing new processes at organizational scale
- Ability to advise commercial teams on contractual QHSE requirements and risk exposure
- Experience guiding engineering, projects, and product development in risk-based decision making
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working independently while deeply connected to key stakeholders
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Solid English and Norwegian skills
