Service Specialist II - VSD

Job Description

• Under general supervision, ideal candidate performs repairs, routine checks, and troubleshooting on Horizontal Pumping Systems - HPS.
• Provides instruction and technical support to customer personnel in the proper handling and operating procedures of HPS.
• Will be responsible for tracking and maintaining preventive maintenance, repairs, alignments, and basic vibration analysis on HPS units.
• Prepare paperwork to include detailed service reports and forms.
• Trains and coaches new hires in basic principles.
• Ability and willingness to travel out of town when required.
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain mechanical performance and cleanliness of truck used in transportation to and from the field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required and 1 to 4 years of experience in artificial lift operations. 
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. 
• Possession of a journeyman electrical certificate and 5-7 years of experience troubleshooting electronics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

• Mechanical / Basic Electrical Experience
• Basic Computer Skills
