About the Role

Under broad direction, the Account Representative – Business Development leverages technical expertise, commercial acumen, and established customer relationships to drive market penetration and revenue growth for the Company’s products and services. This role identifies customer needs, positions high-value solutions, and strengthens long-term strategic partnerships across assigned and emerging accounts.


The Account Representative plays a critical role in expanding the Company’s footprint through effective opportunity development, strategic engagement, and the delivery of differentiated technical and commercial value.


Key Responsibilities
•    Develop and execute account strategies that maximize profitability, growth, and market share across assigned customer portfolios.
•    Utilize deep understanding of customer operations, business drivers, and technical challenges to position fit-for-purpose products, technologies, and services.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with customer decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders to enhance account visibility and opportunity flow.
•    Conduct technical sales presentations, solution demonstrations, and consultative discussions that articulate Company capabilities and competitive advantages.
•    Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities—including within non-assigned accounts—to expand market reach.
•    Collaborate with operations, technical teams, product service lines, and management to craft commercial proposals and ensure value-driven delivery.
•    Participate actively in the business planning process, providing market intelligence, opportunity forecasts, and strategic insights.
•    Maintain accurate account documentation, opportunity tracking, and commercial reporting.
•    Represent the Company professionally at customer sites, industry forums, and strategic meetings.
•    Serve as a trusted advisor who helps customers improve performance and reduce operational risk through Company offerings.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
•    3–8 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial roles within energy services or a related industry.
•    Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships and influence decision-making.
•    Proven experience delivering technical presentations and articulating complex solutions clearly and confidently.
•    Strong understanding of operational requirements, commercial negotiations, and value-based selling.
•    Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
•    Revenue responsibility typically ranges from $5M to $50M.
