Job Duties

Our products span subsurface interpretation, well construction planning, reservoir simulation, production optimization, and digital operations. Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain core services and libraries in F#.
Contribute to the architecture and scalability of our cloud-based platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept to production.
Ensure high standards of code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices.
Mentor other engineers and foster adoption of functional programming patterns.
Deploy, monitor, and optimize workloads on Azure.

Requirements

10+ years of professional software development experience, with significant expertise in F#.
Strong background in functional programming principles and patterns.
Experience building scalable, distributed, or data-intensive applications.
Proven track record of developing production-grade software with high quality and reliability.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., App Services, Functions, Service Bus, AKS, storage).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and cloud-native development.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Skills

Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
Experience with .NET ecosystem more broadly (C#, libraries, interop).
Knowledge of scientific computing, modeling, or geoscience applications.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Mininum of 10 years of software development experience
Working knowledge of at least one modern programming language and standard development tooling (version control, build systems, testing frameworks)
