Job Duties

Landmark Solutions Enablement
Job Title: DWP SME (Digital Well Program)
Location: Pau, France (with travel as required)

Position Summary
The DWP Subject Matter Expert (SME) is a client-facing technical and consulting role responsible for supporting the deployment, adoption, optimization, and continuous improvement of Digital Well Program (DWP) solutions for a customer based in Pau, France.
Under general to limited supervision, the DWP SME applies strong domain expertise in drilling/workflow digitalization and Landmark technologies to help clients improve planning quality, collaboration, execution efficiency, and consistency of well delivery processes. The role works closely with customers, internal consulting teams, product teams, and account stakeholders to define requirements, configure solutions, deliver training, support change management, and ensure sustainable adoption.
The DWP SME serves as the focal point for DWP best practices in client, contributing to project execution excellence, technical assurance, and business growth.

Responsibilities
1) Customer Solution Delivery & Technical Consulting (50%)
•    Lead or support implementation of DWP (Digital Well Program) solutions for the customer project.
•    Gather and validate customer requirements; map business processes and workflows into DWP-enabled solutions.
•    Configure / support configuration of DWP workflows, templates, and related digital processes in collaboration with project teams.
•    Provide technical guidance on DWP usage, integration points, and fit-for-purpose workflow design.
•    Support user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live readiness, and post-deployment stabilization.
•    Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with product/support teams for resolution.

2) SME Support, Adoption & Change Enablement (20%)
•    Act as the DWP SME for internal teams and customer.
•    Deliver user training, coaching sessions, and knowledge transfer to client and internal stakeholders.
•    Develop and maintain best-practice guidance, standard workflows, and reusable implementation assets.
•    Promote adoption by demonstrating value, productivity gains, and workflow improvements to users and decision-makers.

3) Business Development & Pre-Sales Support (15%)
•    Support account teams in identifying DWP opportunities and articulating customer value propositions.
•    Participate in client workshops, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations.
•    Provide input to scope definition, effort estimates, and statements of work (SOWs) for DWP-related engagements.
•    Contribute to growth of consulting services linked to DWP and adjacent Landmark digital solutions.

4) Continuous Improvement / Collaboration (15%)
•    Capture lessons learned and feed improvement opportunities to consulting leadership and product teams.
•    Collaborate with global SMEs, consulting teams, and product management on enhancements and roadmap feedback.
•    Maintain awareness of emerging customer needs, digital drilling trends, and relevant Landmark capabilities.
•    Contribute to quality, consistency, and standardization of DWP delivery practices across the region.

Qualifications

Education:
Required, 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geoscience or Computer Science
Preferred
•    Master’s degree in Engineering / Geoscience / Digital / Data-related field
•    Relevant certifications in project delivery, drilling workflows, or digital transformation

Experience
Required
•    5+ years experience in one or more of the following:
o    drilling engineering / well planning / well delivery workflows
o    Landmark consulting / digital drilling solutions
o    enterprise software implementation in E&P / drilling domains
o    technical customer-facing consulting roles
Preferred
•    7+ years relevant industry / consulting experience
•    Hands-on experience with Landmark solutions and digital workflow deployment
•    Experience in change management, user training, and cross-functional project delivery
•    Experience working with operators/service companies in international environments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Technical / Domain
•    Strong understanding of drilling and well planning / execution workflows using Landmark Engineer’s Desktop Suite.
•    Good understanding of digital workflow design, process mapping, and user adoption challenges
•    Familiarity with Landmark/Halliburton digital ecosystem and consulting delivery practices
•    Ability to translate operational/business needs into technical solution requirements

Consulting / Delivery
•    Workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management
•    Technical presentation and whiteboarding skills
•    Problem-solving and issue triage in customer-facing environments
•    Ability to manage own workload, priorities, and deadlines across multiple projects

Communication
•    Clear verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
•    Ability to communicate business value of technology solutions (productivity, standardization, traceability, collaboration)
Language
•    English: Professional working proficiency required.
•    French: Highly desirable to support effective engagement with local customers and stakeholders.
Working Conditions
•    Primarily office / hybrid / customer-office environment
•    Sedentary work with standard computer-based activities
•    Low exposure to physical hazards under normal working conditions
•    Occasional site visits / operational environment visits may be required depending on project scope

Travel Requirements
•    Occasional travel (0–30%) within France / Customer Assets as required for customer workshops, project delivery, training, and internal collaboration
•    Ability to travel by car and airplane as needed
