Job Duties
- Under strict supervision, performs rigging up/down of service line equipment to provide quality service to the customer.
- Maintains general housekeeping responsibilites on location.
- Performs pre/post job Nitrogen equipment inspections for the next job.
- Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
- Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.
- Drives a truck or other assigned equipment as required.
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Promotes and takes an active part in the Quality Improvement Process.
Qualifications
Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
- High school diploma or similar education and a minimum of 1 year experience is required.
- Must have completed essential math, red book and Nitrogen I training and the Nitrogen Operator Assistant Mentor Objective Checklist.
- Given the nature of oil field service work, must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary.
- The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Service Operator I, Service Operator II or Service Specialist I.
Additonal Information
- Halliburton covers the first flight from the lower 48 to Anchorage, AK.
- 10% Alaska living allowance available to employee's whose primary residence is in Alaska.
- 5% Alaska living allowance available to employee's whose primary residence is outside of Alaska
- Lodging and meals provided during scheduled work rotation
- Position is eligible for a travel stipend of $700/month for employee’s whose primary residence is outside of Alaska.
- Employee's residing outside of Alaska are responsible for coordinating their own travel to and from Anchorage, AK for their work rotation as well as their own transportation to and from the airport and the Halliburton facility in Anchorage.
- 2 weeks on 2 weeks off schedule or a 3 weeks on 3 weeks off schedule, with a Tuesday start date *Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.*
