Job Duties

We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Java Cloud Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications that support scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. This role combines backend Java development, cloud architecture, distributed data processing with Apache Spark, DevOps automation, and frontend UI development. The successful candidate will work within an Agile engineering team to deliver resilient microservices, modern user interfaces, and automated deployment pipelines, while leveraging emerging technologies to improve code quality, productivity, and system observability.

Qualifications

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and backend services using Java/Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
Implement distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark
Build RESTful APIs and event-driven services (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS, Azure Service Bus)
Apply cloud security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and secure communication
Leverage AI-based tools for coding, testing, automation, monitoring, and performance optimization
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Develop responsive user interfaces using React, Angular, Vue.js, and Java-based UI frameworks
Collaborate within Agile environments and cross-functional teams

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
7+ years of experience in Java and cloud application development
Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and distributed systems
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Solid understanding of cloud security principles and Agile methodologies
Experience using AI-assisted tools for development, testing, or monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with event-driven architectures
Knowledge of serverless and cloud-native design patterns
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Proven experience mentoring junior engineers
