Under general supervision, applies reliability engineering knowledge to improve the products and services of Halliburton Energy Services (HES). Develops design specifications on risk management activities. Improves reliability models, specifications and test programs appropriate to the product or service under consideration. Proposes modifications to reliability analysis methods and reporting plans. Performs data analysis and monitors the reliability database. Reviews manufacturing processes for reliability concerns. Skills are acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering and 7 years of related experience.

 

  • Must be able to work with multinational and multidiscipline teams
  • Masters/PhD degree in Engineering and 7+ years of reliability engineering experience is acceptable
  • Master’s in reliability engineering or ASQ certified reliability engineer is preferred
  • Working experience in O&G service industry is preferred
  • Experience in coordination and facilitation of reliability analysis such as failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause failure analysis (RCFA) is preferred
  • Responsible for developing reliability tests for design verification and life prediction of new product designs. Ability to lead DfR program for new product development
  • Proficiently performs statistical data analysis (regression analysis and ANOVA)
  • Experience in statistical and reliability software’s (JMP, Minitab, ReliaSoft)
  • Proven understanding of 6 sigma tools (design of experiments, quality function deployment, fault tree analysis etc.) 
  • Contribute to innovation by development and application of reliability techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (Portuguese/English is required), facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
