Under direct supervision, develops chemical products and processes by providing chemical and/or engineering analysis, testing, simulations, design construction of apparatus, data acquisition systems, and associated instrument maintenance and calibration. Produces data by using basic fluid mechanics concepts to enhance product development. Incorporates new design/techniques to accomplish project goals in product development. Incorporates HSE awareness, regulations, best practices, product/process reliability and quality into the development of products and processes.Apply working knowledge of test procedures and techniques. Debugs complex test setup problems and troubleshoots tools and equipment. Documents test procedures, data, observations, and results. Participates in planning and conducts assembly of components for prototype tools and for tests. Apply working knowledge of assembly tools and techniques. Documents assembly procedures and techniques. Acquires parts for prototypes; solicits help from and provides help to manufacturing as necessary; and assists in release of new designs into production


An Associate’s degree (Technician's Diploma) in related field of science is required at a minimum. 5 years of related experience or more in relared funcitons.

Expected Skills:

  • Hands on Work in a lab environment with assembling tools and testing of equipment
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanisms and basic electrical
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing machines and tools
  • Good English language verbal and written.


Expected Daily tasks:

  • Read, interpret, and generate technical drawings, schematics, reports, etc.
  • Apply working knowledge of materials, components, and their application
  • Incorporate Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques in all job processes
  • Assists in handling field problems to maintain and improve products and services
  • Occasionally travels to offsite locations to assemble, test, repair, and operate equipment
  • Work with third party vendors to improve designs and receive parts and equipment.
