R&D Electrical Engineer - Software Engineer

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering or similar discipline
  • Master’s degree in software engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred.
  • Desired to have 5+ years industry experience.
  • Required to have good knowledge in using C, C++ in both Windows and Linux based environments
  • Desired to have good knowledge in using modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) in both Windows and Linux based environments
  • Required to have good knowledge in using object-oriented design, preferably using UML for documentation
  • Desired to be proficient using multiple compilers, debuggers, and IDE´s.
  • Required to have experience with unit testing and test-driven development
  • Desired to have experience with Programming languages: C, Python, HTML, PHP, SQL and more
  • Desired to have experience with embedded development
  • Required to have experience with Git
  • Desired to have experience with development tools such as CMAKE, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Keil
  • Desired to have Agile experience
  • Desired to have experience with Communication protocols such as: TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, PPP, MODBUS, OPC

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Software design to support product changes and new product development:
  • Embedded software development
  • Participate in creating software architecture and designs
  • Implement, test, release and deploy code on embedded systems
  • Continuous improvement through the entire product life cycle
  • Collaborate with project managers, product owners and other engineers, locally and globally
  • Create product support documentation.
  • Participate in and facilitate design reviews.
  • Support technology transfer (documentation and training)
  • Product support to operations
  • Product support to manufacturing
  • Troubleshooting of operational issues
  • Product line governance and continuous improvement
  • Uses engineering tools to understand circuit schematics and develop firmware and/or embedded software, according to defined functional requirements, for product changes or new development.
  • Assists in preparing interfacing and functional specifications, follows work processes to document designs, and assists in preparation of material for design reviews.
  • Uses software tools or applications to analyze and conduct software tests on systems and document performance in comparison with design criteria.
