Job Duties and Qualifications

Engineering student interns will be exposed to daily processes, product designs and working culture within Halliburton Technology team. Under supervision of senior engineer, interns will work on value-added initiatives in a team environment. The interns will lead, implement solutions, and report out at the end of their assignment.

Example of tasks:

  • Investigate and develop mechanical solutions
  • Participate in design, testing, assembly, qualification, and implementation of the solutions
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations

 

Requirements:

  • Commit to a 6-month internship with Halliburton
  • Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering students are encouraged to apply
  • Proactive, Problem-solving mindset and lots of enthusiasm are a plus for the role
  • Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and mechanical simulation tools is an advantage
