Job Responsibilities:

  • At the direction of a Lead Engineer or Project Manager, assist in the analysis, modification, and design of products and services for assigned projects, which require a working knowledge of materials, processes, components, and their applications.
  • Prepare design calculations and specifications.
  • Develop test procedures, conduct tests, and complete test result analysis for assigned projects.
  • in handling field and manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services.
  • Incorporate Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process.
  • Job tasks impact directly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline, and 2 years of related experience.
  • Proficient with SolidWorks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in self-management within a team environment
    • Time Management: The ability to allocate time efficiently, set priorities, and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
    • Task Organization: Being able to plan and organize individual tasks and responsibilities in a way that aligns with the team's objectives.
    • Decision-making: Making informed decisions independently when required, while also considering the impact on the team and its goals.
    • Adaptability: Being flexible and adaptable to changes in the team environment, adjusting individual efforts to contribute positively to the team's progress.
    • Communication: Effectively communicating progress, challenges, and contributions to the team, ensuring transparency and collaboration.

 

Education Requirement:

  • Skills acquired through the completion of a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Minimum educational requirement of a master’s degree and zero years’ experience or bachelor’s degree and two or more years’ related experience. 

 

Desirables:

  • Intermediate experience with applicable industry standards such as API, ISO, or AWES regulatory requirements
